FAQs

HOW LONG IN ADVANCED SHOULD i book?

As soon as you have your wedding date, you should book in your Hairdresser and MUA in, to avoid disappointment. Trials can be arranged to be done prior at my home studio in Harrington Park.

Although optional, a trial is a great way to see what your make up will look like and ensure any allergies are accounted for.

what is the cost of your service?

Make up for special occasions / formals - $120 at my home studio in Harrington Park. (Includes complimentary individual lashes).

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes, we travel for 3 or more persons, unless it is Bridal Make up then we travel to where you are getting ready from. A travel fee will apply if further than 30 minutes from Camden.

WHAT BEAUTY TIPS DO YOU HAVE TO PREPARE for MY beauty/ bridal service?

Over the years I’ve seen the do's & don'ts and everything inbetween and thought I should simplify it. Hope you find it useful.

* Get your skin ready months before - leaving it to the week of the event could be stressful if you have a reaction to the products. Make up sits better on hydrated skin, so cleanse every day, exfoliate gently once a week and moisturise! Don't forget your SPF when outdoors.

* If you are wanting a spray tan, make sure you do a trial run prior to your event. Especially if you have never had one. This is to test the colour and to see if you are allergic to it. A light coverage on your face or none at all. It's best to tan at least 2 days before the event.

* Avoid getting a Lash Lift if you are wanting to wear false lashes. The false lashes will not sit properly as your lashes may be curly.

* If you have dry lips, use a gentle lip scrub. Don't rub too hard. You can also make your own by using sugar and olive oil (make a paste). Do gentle circular motions using your finger. Lipstick will sit nicer. Do this a few days before.

* The day before, gently exfoliate your face as this will allow make up to sit so much better. You may also use a hydrating sheet mask to further hydrate your skin. Under eye patches are also great for tired eyes.

* The morning of your event; brush teeth, cleanse your face and apply your usual skincare - just NO SUNSCREEN. I also have moisturiser in my kit if needed.

* Wear a buttoned up shirt or a singlet where you have easy access to remove and not ruin your hair or smudge your make up. If you are wanting to highlight your collarbones, then definitely wear something loose, like a robe.
